New high-end resorts to open in Meghauli – Republica
CHITWAN, May 18: As operation of luxurious resorts operating inside the Chitwan National Park (CNP) was terminated last year, two new high-end resorts have opened up in Meghauli–the main entrance point from the western part of the park.Tapping the potential of jungle safari business, leading business house Chaudhary Group and Pokhara-based Barahi Hotel have started construction of new resorts in between Jitpur Bazaar and the bank of Rapti River. Construction of Barahi Jungle Lodge, promoted by Barahi Hotel, is about to finish. The 40-room lodge, which stretches on 12.19 hectares of land, is expected to come into operation by the end of next month.
